The Transplanted Acorn, located in Kingman, Arizona, is dedicated to inspiring creativity and craftsmanship through woodworking education, custom design, and a collaborative maker community. We offer a wide range of classes in woodworking, cabinetmaking, shed building, and more, providing both beginners and experienced makers the guidance and resources to bring their ideas to life. Our mission is to empower individuals to explore their creativity while learning practical skills in a supportive, hands-on environment. Our fully equipped woodshop features a laser engraver, Shaper Origin handheld CNC, vinyl cutter, various sanders, table saws, wood lathes, bandsaws, a wide-belt sander, drum sander, and soon, a wood CNC machine and 3D printer. Members and students enjoy open shop time to create their own projects, while our classes teach the techniques needed to craft functional and artistic pieces.
